About The Artist
Photo: Kasey Jay Keller
I have been making a living as a photographer and filmmaker for well over a decade. I grew up in San Diego, CA, and I am currently based in Northern Utah. I like to think that my love for nature and humanity show through my imagery. Photography and Filmmaking have taken me to over 30 different countries, from the coastlines of Australia to the glaciers of the arctic, in search of new cultures and landscapes.
In the modern world of photography and filmmaking, I seek to set myself apart by having an unmistakable and unique style. My constant search of unseen places and perspectives provides me with a refreshing and original portfolio of visual art. Through the combination of my creative vision with advanced post-processing techniques, I have been able to teach clients how to improve their photography skills.
I believe that landscape photography has the power to cause people to fall in love with the remarkable, natural beauty of our planet. My travels are motivated by this idea that if I can capture a place in the right way, it can give the world a glimpse of its true value in its unaltered, natural state. I hope that my imagery can inspire a desire in others to protect and conserve the little wilderness we have left.
Some of the brands I have worked with include: Black Diamond, The Wilderness Society, Coalatree, Kuru Footwear, jetBlue Airways, TurboTax, VIVINT, Goal Zero, Swell Vision, The Outbound, Kapitol Reef, Backcountry.com, Viewbug, and GSENM.org.
I currently shoot with Sony a7r and a7s bodies with Canon lenses (24-105 f/4L, 70-300 f/4L, 16-35 f/4L), a Really Right Stuff TQC-14 Tripod with their BH-30 ballhead, Sandisk SD cards, and RODE shotgun and LAV mics.
